Internet for Beginners

Ideal Introduction: Providing you with the skills and confidence to shop safely and begin using internet based communications.

• Use the Internet to search for and select information.
• To learn how to shop safely.
• To send emails with attachments such as photos.
• To understand other Internet based communication such as Blogs, Chatrooms, Forums and Social Networking.
• Portfolio based - NO EXAMS!

You should already be familiar with a computer and need to be able to use the mouse and keyboard. You will find this course easier if you have already completed a computer course involving some word processing.
